Materials needed:

  • paper: build projects on paper like a place mat. The clay won’t stick as easily to paper.

  • “tools”

    • rolling pin (a cup would work as well!)

    • paint brush/water

    • something to scratch the clay with, like a fork , toothpick or skewer.

    • Please note: Parents, as you create with your kids, please make sure pieces are pressed on well.

We want to see your finished work! Please tag us on Instagram @hollowedearth so that we can show off your masterpieces!

Once you are finished with your gnomes, they can start to dry.

We will be firing each project and returning them to you ready to be painted with any type of paint that you have on hand!

Drop of times: You can drop them off for firing between 10-11am on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Your gnomes will be ready to pick up within two weeks!

Transporting tips: Clay is a bit brittle as it dries. We recommend using a towel as a “bed” for the finished projects. Please make sure that we have the forms for each piece so that we know the person that each project belongs to.
