Materials needed:

  • paper: build projects on paper like a place mat. The clay won’t stick as easily to paper.

  • “tools”

    • gather “tools” from around the house that could make fun textures in clay. In this video we are using a fork, plastic spoon, straw, and toothpick.

We want to see your finished work! Please tag us on Instagram @hollowedearth so that we can show off your masterpieces!

Once you are finished with your pieces, they can start to dry.

Each piece is glazed one color: Choose from green, blue, clear, black, and sand. Please make a note.

Once you are finished, your mug can start to dry. Drop off your completed mug during our scheduled drop off times of Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10-11am. Your mug will be ready to pick up in two weeks!

Transporting tips: Clay is a bit brittle as it dries. We recommend using a towel as a “bed” for the finished projects. Please make sure that we have the forms for each piece so that we know the color and person that each project belongs to.
